Billing, Subscription & Refund Policy — SoulMaple

1. Billing model

SoulMaple provides recurring digital subscriptions (e.g., 1/3/12 month plans), billed in advance through Stripe.

2. Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next renewal date.

3. Pricing, currency, taxes

Price, currency, and tax information are shown at checkout. You authorize recurring charges for the selected plan.

4. Credits

Credits are plan-based. 1 credit = 1 successfully generated/delivered weekly report.

5. Credit consumption and logs

Credits are consumed only after successful report generation/delivery. Service and ledger logs are authoritative unless a proven technical error exists.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel future renewals anytime in Stripe Billing Portal. Cancellation does not retroactively refund already started/consumed service, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

7. Refund request process (lawful, controlled)

To request a refund, contact hi@soulmaple.com and include:

  • account email,
  • invoice ID,
  • reason,
  • relevant evidence (if technical issue).

We review requests case-by-case and may request verification to prevent abuse/fraud.

8. EU/EEA 14-day withdrawal right (digital service)

If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you may have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts.

By subscribing to paid service, you expressly request immediate start of digital service after payment and acknowledge that, where applicable (EU/EEA consumer law), you may lose the 14-day withdrawal right once performance starts.

Where withdrawal rights still apply and are not waived/lost, refunds follow mandatory law.

9. Refund calculation principles

Where refund is approved/required by law, SoulMaple may apply one or more of these principles:

  • no refund for already consumed service value,
  • proportional refund for unused value,
  • deduction of non-recoverable processor costs where legally permitted,
  • no duplicate compensation if chargeback already settled the same amount,
  • dissatisfaction with subjective/interpretive AI insights alone is not an automatic refund ground (without mandatory legal basis or proven technical failure).

10. No instant self-service refunds

SoulMaple does not provide instant self-service cash refunds in account UI. Refunds are handled by verified support review to protect billing integrity, affiliates, and anti-fraud controls.

11. Chargebacks and disputes

Please contact support first. If a chargeback/refund/reversal occurs, SoulMaple may proportionally reverse credits, referral earnings, discounts, and related benefits (clawback).

12. Fraud and abuse

Refund rights do not cover abuse, manipulation, fake accounts, self-referrals, or policy-violating behavior. Accounts may be limited/suspended where lawful.

13. Failed payments and grace handling

On failed renewal, we may retry payment and apply access limits after grace period until billing is resolved.

14. Plan changes

Upgrade/downgrade behavior and any proration are shown at checkout/Stripe where applicable.

15. Mandatory rights prevail

Nothing in this Policy limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
